Back again....I hope!

Here is a little re-cap of some things that have happened since the end of May!

We had a fire truck theme baby shower for Audrey, Tyler's last day of preschool, Zak's Jump Rope for Heart event at school, Madi's 4th Birthday party...and MUCH more!

Maybe I will do another collage tomorrow, there is alot I missed! =)

Sorry Jamie! I didn't have any pictures for today, so I quick snapped one of Jamie watching TV tonight. I promise I will try to take more interesting pictures in the future. =) At least I used some knowledge from the classes I am taking! Here, hang on a sec, I will add the same picture taken in AUTO mode, as opposed to this one taken in MANUAL, where I had to adjust the settings. lol

Driving through County Park tonight we saw lots of little goose families. Not the best picture...I just grabbed my camera and shot, didn't mess around with all the settings. Cute though.

Today Jamie and I took Tyler and Bella to Menominee Zoo. Zak, of course, did not want to join us. Anyway, this big tortoise wanders around the zoo and I just so happened to snap the picture right as his tongue was out. I LOVE this picture!

Today I took pictures of a boy named Kendrick. He is my friend Amy's Godson. He was such a sweet and goofy boy. We had a blast! He was quite a trooper, considering it was a bit chilly!

Today I borrowed Heather's sweet rainboots and umbrella and took a few pictures of my nieces Josslyn and Ava. Adorable!

Take 2

I decided to re-do my "homework" today, but ended up with the same results. I am still very happy with both sets. I just LOVE taking pictures of this little peanut. I don't think she hates it either. ;) My instructor thought they were great as well!

Crazy Sun Beams

Tonight while I was driving I noticed the sun peaking through the clouds creating really pretty sunbeams. I stopped to take a picture and ended up with this really underexposed photo. I still thought it looked neat though. It was not at all this dark outside.

Bella and Bria

Jenna brought Bria over today for a bit. Bria will be one in July. She just started crawling today! =) Bella is only 6 months old, and look how close they are in size. Hehehe!

Mother's Day Social

Tonight Tyler and I attended the Mother's Day Social at his preschool. They performed a few songs, including a solo and then we got to have cupcakes that the kids decorated and frosted along with ice cream and punch. We had such a great time!

Mighty Beans

They're back! I don't know if anyone remembers these addictive little beans or not...but my kids are hooked. They sold them about five or six years ago I think. Zak was probably around five when they first came out. They are tons of fun to play with though!

White Balance

I just had to repost this picture. I am still learning how to use my camera, and I always forget to use the white balance function. Notice how this one is less "yellow."

Clearance

Please excuse the AWFUL lighting in this picture, but I realized that I didn't have anything for today, so I quickly snapped a picture of my two new clearance buys. I have been watching these items at Target for months at $14.99 each. I just couldn't justify spending $30.00 on two things that I really didn't need. Went to Target the other day and they were $3.74 a piece. Sold.

I am currently taking a photography class and just finished my first assignment! We had to create a row of objects and take close-up photos using different settings. Tyler helped me set this up! =)

1894 - 2000

A bit of an odd entry today...I was at a cemetary today taking pictures for an assignment, when Jamie came across this headstone. This man lived through 3 centuries. The 1800's, 1900's and died in the year 2000. How many people can say that?!

Isabella FINALLY started rolling over on her own today. In this picture she actually DIDN'T make it over! She kept teasing me. She would get halfway there, then stop as soon as I put the camera up to my eye! Such a stinker.

There is NOT supposed to be snow after things begin to turn green. I was NOT happy to wake up and find this cold and wet stuff all over this morning!

At least the day ended beautifully with a pink and purple sunset. Absolutely GORGEOUS!
