Daddy thought it would be cute to put a little heart sticker on Bella's cheek today. As you can see here, she didn't like it when he took it off! Poor baby, such a sad face!

First Food

Today Isabella tried rice cereal for the first time! She opened right up, wasn't so sure about it, then she loved it. She ate quite a bit, and didn't spit much out. I thought she did an excellent job with the spoon. Yum!

Bella's Boo-Boos

Isabella turned four months old last week on the 16th. Because of my procrastination, her 4 month check up was today. She got 3 shots in her thighs, which was devastating for both of us. She fell asleep on the way home and woke up very smiley! Unfortunately she wasn't this happy the rest of the night. =(

Prune Juice

My little Bella doesn't always "GO" everyday. Sometimes she won't for a few days... So I diluted a little prune juice to give her to help nature take it's course. Her first taste triggered the funniest face, so I grabbed my camera to catch it. Of course, she loves her momma so much, she couldn't help but smile. A lot. What a lil stinker! I never got the funny face on camera. =) Oh well.

Moonlit Midnight

A little after midnight last night, I looked outside and the fresh snow was untouched and it was so calm and pretty. I just had to set my camera up and sneak a smooch with the hubby against such a beautiful background. I played with the exposure a bit because I thought it looked neat!

First Try

I've had my camera for almost a month now, and I have finally set up a few shots! Sure, I have been snapping pictures of the kids, but none that were really posed. Not too shabby! Still have a lot to learn.

Pasta Thingy

My friend Cassie made me lunch today. I can't remember what it's called, but she made it from scratch to taste like a dish from Vitale's. It's pasta with Ricotta and Mozzarella, spinach, artichokes and garlic butter sauce. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Mmmmm! I still smell like garlic though...not so yummy. Lol

Heave...HO!

Tyler was so excited to help shovel today! Let's hope this excitement follows into his teens! (yeah, right!)

Love Poem

My husband used to write me love poems all the time when we were younger...and the other day while he was at work, he texted me a poem that he had thought up. So I painted a canvas and wrote the poem on it. I need to rewrite it though, the letters are uneven. Hopefully I will get to it later this week!

The Building for Kids

Today was Bella's first time at The Building for Kids in Appleton. She LOVED everything there! All the commotion and bright colors kept her interest. Here she was sitting in the little chair at the water discovery table.

The Minivan

It's official. I have a "mom" car. But that's okay, because I love it! It's comfortable, spacious and it can fit my family of five AND two extras if need be!

Eric Carle

I know this is a terrible picture, but we weren't allowed to take any during the show. I chaperoned Tyler's preschool field trip to see and Eric Carle "play." It was put on by Mermaid Theaters out of Nova Scotia. It was amazing. It was all black with black lights and glow in the dark paint. It was like the books came alive. Check them out on the web. I recommend all ages seeing it.

Zak

Nothing interesting going on today...so here is a picture of Zak doing his homework. I know, I know. I lead an exciting life. Don't be jealous.

4 Months Old Today

Today I don't feel so hot, and I really didn't feel like picking up the camera. Isabella was born four months ago today, so I decided to post one of the pictures taken by Frame Me...By Mamee just a few days after she was born. Absolutely beautiful.

Splish Splash

We took Bella swimming yesterday for the first time, and she HATED it. Thought we'd give it another try this morning, and well...she still hated it. At least she looked ADORABLE!!!

Moosejaw

Everytime we go to WI Dells, I see the Moosejaw Cruiser delivering food to all the resorts. So...we decided to see what all the fuss was about and try it for ourselves. The pizza was pretty good, but my pasta sucked and everyone's food was cold. I was really disapionted. =( At least we had fun!

Valentine's Day Treats

I made Rice Krispie Treats for Tyler's preschool class for their Valentine's Day party. I used the big, pink marshmallows and packaged them up in baggies tied with red ribbon. Mmmmm!

And....he's OUT!

Our bestest buds Heather and Kaleb came to spend a few nights with us this week. Kaleb got to stay up late because he doesn't have school tomorrow. But as soon as his head hit the pillow, he was OUT!

I actually took this picture yesterday during the Superbowl, but I just can't NOT post it. Both Tyler's and Bella's faces are priceless! He was trying to pose for a picture with his lil sister, when out of nowhere she jut starts bawling! Tyler was a little confused....

Leggings

I have always wanted a pair of leggings, but I have such long legs that I was afraid to try them on. Wal-Mart had them on clearance for $3.00 today, so I picked up a pair and was pleasantly surprised. I don't HATE them! They even go down around my ankle so they don't ride up. Now I just have to find some boots or something to wear with them!

When I Grow Up...

I REALLY need to figure out what I want to be when I grow up! I am thinking about taking some courses for...something. I have absolutely NO idea where to begin though! This is going to be difficult because I don't have any interest in going back to work, therefore I don't know what kinds of classes to look into. =) Oh boy!

Growing Old Together

How adorable are these two? They must be so much in love! We were heading for the door at the mall today and ended up behind this sweet elderly couple who were holding hands. I just had to pull out my cell phone and take a picture. You don't see that every day.

Bella Ballerina

Bella's first swimsuit! There are a few others that I still want to get, but we started with this one. I narrowed it down to 2, and daddy chose this one. So pretty! She will most likely own at least 5 before the end of "swimsuit season!" SOOOO many cute ones!

Ben

This is Ben. He is my dad's boss's son. Today I babysat him for the second time. He is a super cute little boy, and he's very smart. It's really fun talking to him. He has a great vocabulary and always has so much to say!

Lefty? Just maybe...

Bella has a new-found love for her feet these days...or should I say FOOT. She really seems to only grab her left foot. Looks like we may have a LEFTY on her hands. If this holds true, we will have one proud PAPA!

More Bella

Isabella is just so photogenic! She really seems to LOVE getting her picture taken and always smiles so big for me. I just can't help posting pictures of her.

2/2/10 LOVE

I actually DID have this put up on Tuesday, HOWEVER my computer/Blogger decided to mess with me and I was unable to publish it. SO, I deleted it and re-blogged it.

I saw a picture similar to this at Target and fell in "love" with it. I figured I would try to make one on my own. This is just a practice one. I hope to find some more interesting "letters." These were just some items I found around my home.

Fabulous Find

I was SO excited to find this retro gumball machine at Goodwill today for $14.99! I couldn't resist. Tyler LOVES this thing. Tomorrow we are going to pick out some candy and gumballs to fill it. This is definitely one of my new favorite possessions!
